"Bastard"
International breed
Origin. The original land of mixed breed dogs is uncertain. Breed is either from America, Europe, Asia or Africa. Antarctis seems highly unlikely. Oldest information about mixed breed dogs are from 10 000 years before the Christ, when people started to work with a dog for the first time. So, we are talking about the worlds first breed, witch is also the begining of the all hundreds of different breeds today.
Characteristics. Loyal, intelligent, trainable, initiative, active, bold, happy, gentle, patient, fair, allert and curious. Independent but obedient. Peaceful but lively. Mixed breed dog barks with a musical note and is kind and friendly by nature. Some of the mixed breed dogs can be a bit careful with strangers, though.
Head. Dogs of mixed breed should have a head that is situated upper than the rest of its body, but attatched to it, of course. It would also be practical, if there's a pair of eyes, a nose and a mouth situated in the head. Mouth sould be the kind that opens and closes (feeding is a lot easier this way) and there should also be teeth in the mouth.
Eyes. Eyes of the mixed breed dogs are either large, medium or small (depending on the size of the dog). Eyes are allert and shows some intelligent and kindness. Colours from black to white.
Ears. There should be a pair of ears situated on the head of mixed breed dog (dog survives with only one, though). The size of the ears can be from small to large and posture from up to low. It's also acceptable to have two different posture of ears (for the shows this is almost a must, because the impression of differently postured ears is so knock-out dashing that it almost without exception causes a success in the show ring).
Bite. Jaws are strong enough and hopefully about the same size (not a necessity). Teeth should be white (though other colours can handle the biting as well). Biting can be either forward, up, down, sideways, scissors or level.
Neck. Neck should be situated between the head and other body (working as a connector of these two, sort of). Neck is also the place where the collar should be situated, so a dog without a neck can produce some practical difficulties.
First legs. There should be a pair of first legs under the mixed breed dog. When the dog moves, the legs should also move to the same way. Legs should be perpendicular from the ground when looking in front of the dog and from the side pointed to same directon (makes moving easier). Paws are situated at the end of the legs and there should be five toes, which are usually of black colour (though other colours are as good, too).
Body. Body is the part of the dog that has legs and a head attached to. There should be (for the balance) one leg on each corner of the dog. So all in all four pieces. First legs situated in front of the dog and back legs on the either side of the tail. Body formed this way has been proved to be most practical and therefore its also the most desired totality.
Back legs. There should be a pair of back legs, too, and those should be situated to the back of the dog (where the tail is). Legs should be firm and muscular (enough to move the dog). It's wanted to have a motion to the same way than the fist legs. Other characteristics, see Fists legs.
Tail. Most mixed breed dogs have one tail. It should be attached to the back of the dog, preferably in the middle of the back legs. This may be the most lively part of the mixed breed dogs. The tail (the only one) is often carried broudly up.
Skin. Should cover the dog bodywise the whole dog, leaving only the places needed to be open (eyes, nose etc.) without.
Fur. The special characteristics of the mixed breed dog is really comprehensive and colourful variations of the fur. All options are acceptable, also some parts without any hair or on the other hand some parts with really long hair. These differences gives a personal look of this particular dog. Also the type of the hair differs from rough to soft, and the length from really long to totally short. Also different types of curly and wavevy occurs. The hair in the head also varies from really short and bushy to the most peculiar kind of tuft and beard combinations.
Colour. Except the different types of fur, mixed breed dogs are combined by their endless variation of different colouring of their hair. All colours from total black to clean white and with all combinations are typical. Also some striped and streaked can be found. On the other hand, different square and cross patterns in the mixed breed dogs are rare.
Size and weight. The hight of the mixed breed dog should be about 10 - 100 cm. Weight should be about 0,5 - 100 kg. Other measurements are allowed, of course, but there might be some practicad difficulties if it differs too much from this scale (the dog can be gone with the wind or on the other hand, is too large to enter in a car...).
Errors and errors of rejection. This kind of oddnesses there is not in a mixed beed dogs! All the mixed breed dogs in the world are good and equal
